There’s a newly-opened cafe in Warriewood that may just score a big win from locals who are looking to discover places to eat.
The Kanteen, located at 10/11 Ponderosa Parade, is already attracting some VIPs, as Sea Eagles pros Jake and Tom Trbojevic were recently spotted dining at this coffee shop.
The cafe is actually owned and managed by Marie Fittler, the better half of Blues Origin coach and National Rugby League legend Freddie Fittler.
The restaurant just opened last March and it’s still gaining a steady clientele.
Breakfast lovers coming to The Kanteen for the first time are recommended try their heavenly bacon and egg roll with a choice of either a smokey barbecue sauce or fresh tomatoes. Pair this with a cup of St. Dreux Coffee for a filling and satisfying meal.
The Kanteen also serves PHAT Bacon and Egg Roll with a layer of cheese, tomato relish and a side of hash browns. Other food fares include Belgian waffles, cheeseburger, hotdogs, Southern fried chicken, vegetarian burger, and chicken souvlakia in pita bread.
The Kanteen is open for trading Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Drop by one of these days and support local small businesses in Warriewood!
“The guys at the Kanteen are absolutely fantastic. Great food and great coffee. Really friendly and always upbeat. They are the real deal for sure.”
